Manufacturer claims and field performance aren’t always the same thing. Based in Henderson, Nevada, Mojave Flight Sciences tests unmanned aircraft systems under real-world operating conditions to determine where they actually stand.

Jim Yeager founded Mojave Flight Sciences while continuing to serve as an international airline captain. His career includes work in Bio-Life Sciences at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, international airline operations, and approximately 20,000 flight hours in Airbus, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas transport-category aircraft.

That depth of scientific and operational aviation experience shapes the MFS approach to testing: rigorous, methodical, and grounded in real-world operations.

MFS is building its flight-test team and expanding High Desert Labs, its mobile flight-test platform. High Desert Labs brings ground support equipment and instrumentation directly to test sites, so evaluations happen under the same conditions the aircraft will actually operate in, not just in a lab or a controlled range.
